What is your favorite LARP memory
My last character's wedding. So many people went above and beyond for me and my character's wife. It was the last thing I ever did as that character.
What are you most excited about/excited to do at Dial of Ruin?
To start a community built on trust and the goal of having fun. I cant express how much these past few months have meant to me and I will continue being sappy for years to come
What hobbies do you enjoy?
Gaming, sewing, embroidery, tufting, traveling. You name a craft I love it. I take Jack of All Trades to heart
What is a fun fact about you that people may not know but you think is really fun/cool
I can make a realistic chicken noise. And i’m double joined in both arms and legs

What is your current role in Dial of Ruin and what have you found most fun about being apart of the wider staff team
Co-owner of LARP, and I'm just happy to be making something cool with my friends!
What is your favorite LARP memory
Very first game of LARP and I get dragged to a back alley and stabbed, then intimidated my way out of the situation because they mistook me for a big bad since I (by complete coincidence) wore a similar outfit to him.
What are you most excited about/excited to do at Dial of Ruin?
Playing in a fantasy LARP with my friends again (and cult stuff)
What hobbies do you enjoy?
TTRPGs, Wargaming (40k, etc,) MTG, PC gaming LARPing :P
What is a fun fact about you that people may not know but you think is really fun/cool
I can touch my nose with my tongue

What is your current role in Dial of Ruin and what have you found most fun about being apart of the wider staff team
Assistant Head of Larp, focusing on Rules and Story. I've really enjoyed the supportive atmosphere and the willingness to "yes, and" ideas that folks come up with.
What are you most excited about/excited to do at Dial of Ruin?
Seeing what our players can build and the stories they tell in the world we're building together.
What hobbies do you enjoy?
Video games, D&D, field recording, music composition, and more!
What is a fun fact about you that people may not know but you think is really fun/cool
I'm a video game sound designer by trade, working primarily in VR nowadays.

How long have you been LARPing?
Depending on how you count it, about 4 years.
What is your current role in Dial of Ruin and what have you found most fun about being apart of the wider staff team
First aid, and Story. I have been in awe watching this world fold together, and seeing the creativity of my community blossom. I hope I can support this in my role.
What is your favorite LARP memory
Going to Paradox.
What are you most excited about/excited to do at Dial of Ruin?
To engage with imaginative play like I did when I was a kid. And to build immersive systems, effects, theatrics, and scenarios that allow the creativity of our staff and players to soar!
What hobbies do you enjoy?
I like to sew, go on walks, cook, practice puppetry, dance, and learn to do new things on YouTube- and I REALLY love writing!
What is a fun fact about you that people may not know but you think is really fun/cool
I was a historical reenactor for a few years! I've done military and civilian impressions, and I know a LOT about the history of nursing and medicine.

I absolutely cannot WAIT to see the stories of our players and characters play out! It's been a privilege so far.

How long have you been LARPing?

What is your current role in Dial of Ruin and what have you found most fun about being apart of the wider staff team
I play Xel the God of Life and also serve on the story team! I’ve particularly enjoyed brainstorming fun and engaging plot ideas with my fellow staff to share with our playerbase over the years. I’ve also had a ton of fun curating the Life Dial and some of its secrets.
What is your favorite LARP memory
Too many to list. They range from large scale battles to simply just walking a larp site at night looking at stars. Above all it’s been meeting so many people that are some of my closest friends and family at this point.
What are you most excited about/excited to do at Dial of Ruin?
Most excited to give our players some life long lasting memories and stories to tell their friends. If at any point even one of our players sits down with their friends and tells them about a memory they made at Dial of Ruin, it would all be worth it.
What hobbies do you enjoy?
Gaming in all forms! Video games, tabletop games, Magic the Gathering, Warhammer, mini-painting; all of it.
What is a fun fact about you that people may not know but you think is really fun/cool
I was a collegiate esports athlete who played in the first Heroes of the Dorm tournament for the MOBA, Heroes of the Storm!
Anything else you wish to add?
I hardcore play favorites. But here’s the secret, the best way to be a favorite is to be a positive and supportive community member who takes the time to help others. Also, come say hi, tell me who you are, what inspires you, and whatever cool thing you want to work towards. It’s my role to support you in having fun, making memories, and having that “I’m a hero” moment that we all love to experience.

What is your current role in Dial of Ruin and what have you found most fun about being apart of the wider staff team
Player Support / Rules; the best part about being on the staff team is getting to work with our passionate group of player
What is your favorite LARP memory
After one of my first great battles of a LARP weekend; sitting with my friends around the fire, seeing we all survived together and telling stories of the wild time we had.
What are you most excited about/excited to do at Dial of Ruin?
The Dials are rich with interesting people! I can't wait to see all the stories we create together.
What hobbies do you enjoy?
I like to playing video games, Magic: the Gathering, D&D, and many other table tops!
What is a fun fact about you that people may not know but you think is really fun/cool
I used to be a YouTuber a long time ago and I still help with film projects on occasion.

How long have you been LARPing?
I've been heavily involved in TTRPG Spaces since 2018, and involved with Larp since 2023
What is your current role in Dial of Ruin and what have you found most fun about being apart of the wider staff team
I am Story and Logistics staff, and I love getting to do cool work with cool people
What hobbies do you enjoy?
I do cosplay and wear harajuku and lolita fashion, and I love to play board games and TTRPGS. I'm a huge nerd, I love Pikmin, X-Men, Pathologic, Ace Attorney, Vampires, and lots more. I'm also an amateur writer and love to embroider.
What is a fun fact about you that people may not know but you think is really fun/cool
I have a 100 year old taxidermy racoon, his name is Gemlin, and I love him. Please ask me about him, I will send you pictures. I'm also partly tone deaf.

What is your current role in Dial of Ruin and what have you found most fun about being apart of the wider staff team
I am Player Support and on the New Player team currently. And I love getting the opportunity to mess with players and give them as many good and memorable experience as I had.
What are you most excited about/excited to do at Dial of Ruin?
Seeing all the new players get hyped and ready!
What hobbies do you enjoy?
Drawing, Gaming, Crafting, Going on dates with my partners!

What are you most excited about/excited to do at Dial of Ruin?
I want to help create cool interesting stories with creative people and to actually be involved in the stories as a player. I also like to create characters, costumes and in game camp areas when that is available. Again anything collectively creative and/or helpful.
What hobbies do you enjoy?
Painting, cosplay, singing, playing video/board/tabletop RPGs, crafting and designing in general and much more ❤️

What is your current role in Dial of Ruin and what have you found most fun about being apart of the wider staff team
I am currently apart of our Story Team! I have loved every moment of creation with our staff team. This started as a group of friends wanting to carve out some space to be able to pursue our passions safely in the LARP world. What it's grown into is the most incredible passion project I have ever been a part of. Telling this story with my best friends is an honor and a blessing.
What is your favorite LARP memory
Bringing my sibling to their first game. It was a super special moment for me, sharing my passion with one of my favorite people and watching them enjoy it. And, they crushed it! Cannot wait for them to come try DoR.
What are you most excited about/excited to do at Dial of Ruin?
Creating a safe space in the fantasy LARP community for people who, historically, have had to fight for one.
What hobbies do you enjoy?
Crying, Gaming, Reading, Writing Fanfiction, Tarot & Astrology, Crochet
What is a fun fact about you that people may not know but you think is really fun/cool
I used to work at a major film studio, and I have a number of trinkets I picked up or was gifted from different sets/productions during my time there. I also got to spend time on the set of one of my favorite Marvel productions, while I was there.
Anything else you wish to add?
I feel especially lucky that, as new player staff, I get to see a glimpse into each and every character. I wish there had been safer people who took me under their wing when I was first becoming established in a LARP space, and I hope to be that person to anyone who is looking for it. My door will always be open to those who want a friend.
